Around the World

I know I've been M.I.A. for the past couple of weeks. I have been coordinating an event at my church... Around the World in 80 Minutes. This was the brainchild of my friend Donna. Donna is a visionary. She has amazing ideas for bringing ALL people together and I'm just lucky that she let me bring life to her vision!

Here's the idea:

Around the World in 80 Minutes (progressive dinner and silent auction) invites "travelers" to visit various destinations, each serving a different course and each providing a different Bible story or entertainment. This is a wonderful idea for community outreach and I will be outlining the entire event, along with all the planning details, on my blog She Plans (as soon as I get back to updating it). This was a fabulous evening of fun, fellowship, and food! A great time was had by all.
